On 7th August 2025 work on the enlarged perimeter appeared to be started. There had been some discussion (eg on the Folkestone Invicta Fans Forum) about the reduced size of the pitch compared to before, but it had always been in the plans from the original submission Planning Application: 25/0076/FH
