Flat out

By the last weekend of July 2025, all looked ready for the drainage work, with the surface all flattened out. There had been so much heavy plant in that the pitchside path between the Grandad Stand and the Dougout club had become a mud road.

The pitch updates had been mentioned by Seasiders Radio during their commentary at the pre-season friendly Tonbridge Angels vs Folkestone Invicta that weekend, and these pgotographs have been kindly supplied by them.

Also at this time the fence that had been removed from Cheriton Road had been erected at Hawkinge FC - a great bit of recycling & reuse.
