Mid-Summer break

Start of the working week in the middle of August 2025, and the urgent activity of creating the 3G pitch...........appears to have stopped. Waiting supply of materials? Letting the ground settle? Who knows, But nothing appeared to be happening. Let's wait.....

Updates later in the week indicated that Tarmac work was due to start on Monday 18th August 2025, Presumably on the perimeter, not the pitch (that would create quite a bounce)! Additionally sources stated that the work was 2 weeks ahead of schedule. The good weather over the last few weeks possibly helping this.

Also in the background it was reported that Sport England approved the application this week.
